Heat cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and cook 3 bacon slices. Remove bacon from pan and drain. In separate pan, heat walnut oil with butter. Toast cut sides of slider rolls and remove from heat. Assemble sliders by spreading fig jam on both the top half and bottom half of the roll. Cut 1 piece of bacon per sandwich to fit roll and place on bottom half. Top with a generous amount of Wisconsin Blue Cheese and return to heated pan and cover. Flip once, toast until cheese is melted taking care not to burn the roll.
- 3 thick-cut slices smoked bacon
- 2 tablespoons walnut oil
- 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) butter
- 3 artisan slider rolls, split
- Fig jam
- 1 cup (6 ounces) Wisconsin Blue cheese crumbles, at room temperature
